Ingredients
- 2 cups (300g) roasted peanuts (unsalted)
- ¼ teaspoon Isle of Skye Natural Sea Salt Crystals
- 1 teaspoon honey (optional)
- 1–2 teaspoons peanut or vegetable oil (optional, for smoother texture)
Directions
Place the roasted peanuts in a food processor.
- Blend for 1 minute, then scrape down the sides.
- Continue blending in short pulses until a thick paste forms.
- Add the Isle of Skye Natural Sea Salt Crystals and honey (if using).
- Blend again until the peanut butter reaches your preferred consistency.
- If needed, add a little oil for a smoother texture.
- Transfer to an airtight jar and store at room temperature or in the fridge for up to a month.
Recipe Note
For a deeper flavour, try using lightly smoked peanuts or adding a pinch of cinnamon. You can also mix in some chopped roasted peanuts at the end for an extra-crunchy version!
